The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Director of B2B Marketing to lead our talented B2B marketing team and report directly to our VP of Marketing.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our B2B growth strategy, transforming marketing into a data-driven demand and pipeline generation engine. You'll leverage your expertise in demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), content marketing, and field marketing to lead our team to develop and execute impactful campaigns that drive new logo acquisition, renewals, and account expansion.
Crucially, you will build and foster a high-performing, collaborative team, providing mentorship and guidance to maximize individual and collective potential.
You will establish clear performance metrics, empower team members, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will demonstrate a strong ability to utilize AI to optimize marketing processesI. You will champion a data-centric approach, utilizing analytics and insights to inform strategic decisions, optimize campaign performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will also work closely with leadership, ensuring seamless alignment and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead, inspire and build our team of talented marketing professionals whose focus is to create exceptional digital content, events, account based marketing, and lead generation campaigns for B2B growth. Your knowledge in each of these areas will be exemplary so that you can provide guidance and leadership to enable the team to develop their skills further.
Demand Generation: Be the impetus to transforming the B2B marketing function into an efficient data-driven demand and pipeline generating machine, that is efficient and rigorous in its decision-making. You will set meaningful metrics aligned with industry benchmarks and implement industry-leading systems, tools and processes and showcase your strong marketing analytical skills.
Events and Field Marketing: Oversee Multiverse’s events and field marketing strategy to support our customer engagement, thought leadership, and champion building efforts for C-level business leaders. Your creativity and input will be key to expanding our current strategies in the UK, and support in leveraging events and field marketing to move into new markets.
Account Based Marketing: Guide the team that drives strategic account penetration by developing and executing targeted ABM programs, fostering deep engagement with key stakeholders. Collaborate closely with sales to align marketing efforts, ensuring seamless execution and measurable pipeline impact.
Content: Manage the content specialists that drive the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy to drive demand and enhance brand awareness, focusing on high-quality, engaging content. Measure and analyze content performance, leveraging insights to optimize strategy and personalize the buyer's journey.
BDRs: Provide strategic oversight of the program targeted at generating new logo pipeline within key accounts by executing targeted outreach and qualification strategies. Establish and adhere to clear lead qualification processes and SLAs, ensuring a focused approach to converting high-potential prospects into new customers.
Budgeting & Data: Take a strong analytical approach and oversee all B2B marketing initiatives and planning projects while aligning budgets with key priorities. Liaise with teams across the business on systems and processes to improve team productivity and efficiency.
About You
You have led B2B Marketing for a scaling organisation and have significant experience in the tech world
You have demonstrably used AI to scale marketing teams, automating processes, enhancing personalization, and driving measurable improvements in campaign performance and efficiency, which translated to pipeline and revenue growth
You have a strong background in demand generation, specifically account based marketing strategies and content marketing
You have experience in field marketing and working closely with sales leaders
You can work with limited resources but you also have experience of managing large marketing budgets and can point to examples of how you have delivered significant ROI for the business
You will have significant management experience. You inspire your team to deliver exceptional quality work and deliver results by setting a vision and strategy and then leading from the front. You enjoy developing others and have built high performing teams.
You are a highly data driven individual; you lead with data and are comfortable demonstrating the value to the business of projects and marketing your initiative.
