We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.
We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.
We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Director of Governance to join as an integral part of our Operations team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of how we monitor and improve the quality of our apprenticeship programmes, by reviewing our quality framework, identifying areas for change, and driving improvement projects in collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.
As we continue to grow rapidly, maintaining the outstanding quality of our programmes is key to the success of our apprentices, our company and our ability to demonstrate to external bodies such as Ofsted that we can achieve outstanding results while delivering at a huge scale. The successful candidate will, therefore, play a direct role in furthering Multiverse’s mission to build a diverse generation of future leaders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving alignment with multiverse’s strategic objectives.
Mitigate Risk & Optimize Funding: Oversee our funding claim mechanisms, ensuring that our funding claims are de-risked for future clawback and acting based on indicators such as FRM queries and PDSAT reports.
Maintain and report against a robust Governance framework, ensuring that leaders in the business understand data-related risks within the framework, such as QAR, leading initiatives to improve those measures, and ensuring Governance processes, including subcommittees, are working within a streamlined process that drives continuous improvement.
Integrate HE Processes: Lead the integration of our HE processes into our business as usual processes, ensuring that policies are supported by standard operating procedures and clear ownership models are in place to support this integration.
Strategic Advisory on Regulatory Compliance: Advise cross-functional teams on building out new processes. As the expert in our regulatory requirements, you will work with other teams to implement planned or reactive changes to processes as changes in those regulations dictate.
Drive Education & Compliance Excellence: Manage educational improvement and compliance improvement plans, working with external experts to lead our Audit and Risk subcommittee, Quality Subcommittee, and Academic Quality Council to ensure best-in-class outcomes.
Innovate Delivery Models & Create Opportunities: Identify and lead innovations to delivery models to create commercial opportunities by working with clients to understand their needs, you will advise on customised solutions or lead projects to bring new employers into Multiverse through levy donations for example.
Foster a High-Performance Culture: Build and develop a strong team, that enables other functions to build and deliver strong and robust products, fostering a high-performance culture and run frictionless systems
