What you'll do:- Own and improve people systems (e.g. Hibob, Lever, Justworks), ensuring data integrity, usability, and scalability.
- Lead and support global People Ops initiatives—from design to implementation—across onboarding, internal mobility, and exits.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics including equipment, contracts, system access, and background checks.
- Manage employee benefits processes: annual reviews, benchmarking, enrolments, and resolving insurance queries (e.g. coverage gaps, internal moves to the US).
- Support US visa operations: tracking visa types, managing agency communications, and maintaining documentation/templates.
- Maintain and localise policies, handbooks, and guides (e.g. US-specific versions as part of global initiatives).
- Advise managers and employees on people tools and policies, ensuring a compliant and human-first experience.
- Collaborate with Legal, IT, Talent, and Payroll to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant processes across geographies.
What you'll need:- Solid experience in People Operations or HR, ideally in high-growth or global environments.
- Strong understanding of HR systems—especially Hibob and ATS tools (e.g. Lever, Greenhouse).
- Basic knowledge of UK or US employment practices, with the ability to adapt and learn as needed
- A people-first mindset with a knack for building efficient, scalable processes.
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with benefits administration and/or immigration processes is a plus.
Bonus if you have:- Experience supporting operations in both the US and international environments
- Exposure to SaaS or energy/tech sectors
- Prior involvement in systems implementation or process automation initiatives
Why you'll love it here:- Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options including FSAs.
- Paid time off — we know working hard means also being able to recharge as needed, we trust our employees to get the work done and take the time they need.
- 401(k) plan with employer match.
- Parental leave. Biological, adoptive and foster parents are all eligible.
- Pre-tax commuter benefits.
- Flexible working environment: you need to shift around your schedule? You do you, we genuinely believe in work/life balance.
- Equity Options: every employee owns part of the business. We’re a team, working together towards huge goals. Every person is crucial to our success, you should be rewarded as such.
- Modern office or co-working spaces depending on location. This role will require 3 days a week onsite in our New York City office.
- The salary range for this role in NYC ranges on average from $70,000-$95,000 (with some flexibility) depending on relevant experience, role alignment, and expertise demonstrated throughout the interview process.
