The Senior Product Manager, Hardware Technologies, will support the definition and development of new and novel technologies that deliver on important user needs. In this role, you will lead the discovery, prioritization, and development of innovative new health sensing capabilities and future hardware technologies. You will work closely with our Science and Engineering teams to craft a long term sensing and technologies roadmap that fuels the innovation of Oura’s future hardware products.
What You will do:
- Own and drive the roadmap, prioritization, and development of future health sensing features and advanced hardware technologies.
- Develop a compelling vision and create user stories to give clarity and alignment on each project
- Collaborate closely with Science and Engineering leads to prioritize work effectively
- Collaborate closely with other Product Managers, Design, Engineering, and Science to define how the technologies roadmap intersects with the NPI roadmap
- Inform and influence future hardware product features and scope
- Support Science and Engineering teams through research, concepting, and validation to vet the feasibility, usability, and value of new technologies
- Manage product requirements and tradeoffs at every stage, regularly assess progress, and facilitate timely decision-making within the team and with Product leadership
- Regularly communicate the technologies roadmap and priorities to key internal stakeholders
This is a hybrid US role based in San Diego. Willingness and ability to work 1-3 days a week during early morning times (6:00 am - 9 am PT) to co-operate with our FIN offices.
- 7+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wearables, connected devices, and sensors
- Experience with hardware products, including mechanicals, electronics, firmware, materials
- Experience working on products requiring product science
- Experience in making complex tradeoffs
- Successful track record of working closely with design and engineering teams during the full product lifecycle, including research, discovery, development, and launch
- Proven experience driving 0-to-1 product or feature development
- Passion for leveraging technology to enhance user experience and improve quality of life
- Ability to think strategically, execute efficiently, and learn quickly from experimentation
- A positive and innovative mindset, with the ability to balance innovation and business needs

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1: $162,000 - $203,000
- Region 2: $150,000 - $187,000
- Region 3: $139,000 - $174-000
