But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees globally, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output. Join Multiverse and power our mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.
The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic EdTech start-up as the Senior Manager, Analytics and Insights within the Operations division. Reporting to the Director of Performance Ops, you will build and lead the analytics and insights function in the ops org, setting the strategy and direction to ensure data is at the heart of how the Operations division drives efficiency and success. You will manage a small team of analysts and be responsible for the development and delivery of operational dashboards, reports and insight deep-dives that inform daily operations and key strategic decisions. This is a critical, hands-on leadership role focused on leveraging advanced data analytics, understanding stakeholder needs deeply, and ensuring the Operations division is run based on clear, relevant, and timely insights. You will partner closely with senior leadership, Data Product Managers (from our central Data & Insight team), and cross-functional teams to ensure our data yields powerful, actionable insights in our fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment.
Specifically, you will:
Lead Operational Analytics Strategy & Roadmap: Develop, own, and execute the strategy for how Operations leverages data, analytics & insights to maximise business impact aligned with our business objectives and operational priorities - informing and building upon the Data & Insight team’s central data products roadmap.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, technical excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Manage team workload, set priorities, and ensure high-quality, impactful output.
Stakeholder Needs & Requirements: Diagnose and translate the needs of key Operations stakeholders into tangible operational deliverables, tools, and insights and/or consolidated requirements for central data products. Gather detailed specifications and define success criteria for analytical projects.
Advanced Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Oversee and contribute to the development of robust dashboards and reporting frameworks (using SQL, Tableau, etc.). Drive the generation of deep, actionable insights from complex, sometimes ambiguous, data sets to inform strategy and operations.
Metric Definition & Target Setting: Define, create, track, and clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Operations division, which align with our broader organisational metrics. Lead both top-down and bottom-up target-setting processes for these operational metrics, ensuring alignment and clear visibility.
Data Architecture & Collaboration: Understand data architecture principles. Work closely with Data Product Managers and engineering teams to articulate requirements for structuring data in more usable, accessible, and scalable ways, advocating for data quality and improvements.
Experimentation & A/B Testing: Apply and guide the team on A/B testing principles and other experimentation methodologies to measure the impact of operational changes and initiatives.
Data Enablement & Adoption: Develop approaches and potentially documentation/training materials to help operational stakeholders effectively use and interpret data tools and insights, fostering high adoption and impact. Monitor the usage and effectiveness of these operational tools.
Strategic Partnership & Communication: Serve as the primary analytics point of contact for Operations. Translate complex analytical findings and technical concepts into clear, concise recommendations tailored appropriately for key stakeholders, including effectively bridging communication between technical partners like Data Product Managers and non-technical Operations Leaders. Partner on strategic planning, providing robust data-driven insights.
About You:
Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in analytics, or business intelligence, with a proven track record of operating successfully in an analytics role within a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment is required.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing analytical teams or significant analytical projects, driving strategy and execution.

Analytical Rigor: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experiment design.
Data & Business Acumen: Deep understanding of data architecture concepts and best practices. Proven experience working with both ambiguous/imperfect data sets and seeing/striving for best-in-class data structures and practices. Experience translating business needs (from Operations) into data requirements.
