What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Health Plans - Marketing to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive engagement and partnership activation with health plans, including insurers such as Aetna, Blue Cross, and other key stakeholders. This role will focus on positioning our solutions effectively for the health plan audience and creating compelling sales and marketing collateral to drive partnership adoption.
This role is ideal for a marketing leader who thrives in B2B2C healthcare marketing, has a deep understanding of payer dynamics, and can craft strategic messaging that resonates with insurers and their members. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure a consistent and compelling narrative.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and partnership activation with health plans.
- Create compelling collateral, including sales decks, one-pagers, FAQs, case studies, and digital content tailored to payer audiences.
- Own the messaging and positioning for our health plan-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to develop marketing materials that help the team effectively communicate our value proposition to potential health plan partners.
- Leverage data and insights to continuously refine marketing strategies and messaging based on market trends, partner feedback, and engagement metrics.
- Manage multi-channel campaigns, including direct outreach, email marketing, digital content, and thought leadership initiatives to educate and engage health plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.) while developing marketing strategies.
- Lead strategic storytelling efforts, crafting narratives that demonstrate the impact of our solutions on both payers and their members.

Requirements
- 5-7+ years of healthcare marketing experience, preferably in payer-focused marketing, health plans, or B2B2C environments.
- A strong understanding of payer ecosystems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers.
- Experience developing marketing collateral tailored for health plans, including case studies, sales decks, and B2B messaging.
- Proven ability to drive adoption & engagement through compelling value propositions.
- Experience conducting market and user research to develop effective customer-facing content and messaging.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex healthcare solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience leveraging data to optimize messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Bonus (nice to have)
- Experience marketing digital health solutions, mental health services, or virtual care models.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and payer compliance requirements.
- Background in B2B marketing strategy with an understanding of B2B2C consumer engagement.

The is a remote contract position with an annual salary of $145,000 - $190,000.
