Technology Testing & Validation: You enable fast testing and validation of new technology ideas and concepts, delivering reliable results while striving for measurement excellence. You are committed to maintaining and developing cutting-edge testing facilities to ensure their reliable performance in support of Climeworks' vision of a sustainable future.
Measurement Development & Analysis: You develop new measurement techniques tailored to DAC testing needs, propose solutions aligned with test facility timelines, and evaluate requirements for DAC process model validations, defining methods to support these efforts.
Test Setup & Conceptualization: You design simple test setups to propose and verify concepts, develop analytical methods to support physical testing, and analyze gaps and stakeholder needs regarding performance requirements for test facilities.
Technical Solutions & Subsystems: You propose new technical solutions that meet requirements and constraints, lead the conceptualization of new subsystems for DAC test facilities, and manage and maintain documentation related to test facility measurement systems.
Procedure Development: You develop standard operating procedures to address the calibration needs of DAC process measurement performance.
Education & Experience: You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering or science discipline and have 5 years of experience in testing, measurement technology, experimental process characterization, and hands-on experience with test benches, prototype scales, and process plants.
Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving: You understand multidisciplinary engineering and scientific challenges, with knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and the ability to work with incomplete or unknown information.
Teamwork & Coordination: You work well in a team, coordinate work packages effectively, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when solving complex problems.
Communication & Organizational Skills: You have strong communication and organizational skills, thriving in interdisciplinary teams, and are able to manage documentation and present findings clearly.
Independent Work Style & Quality: You work independently, reliably, and in a structured manner with a strong sense of quality, a willingness to learn, and the ability to develop standard operating procedures.
Language Skills & Travel: You are proficient in both English and German and are willing to travel occasionally.
